Wolfe Wave indicator or scanner? An honest comparison

Three things are sold under the same name and solve three different problems. Here is which one is your problem – and where our own offering falls short.

Search for Wolfe Waves and you meet three kinds of product that get lumped together. They differ not in quality but in what they do at all.

Which one solves your problem?

What we measured ourselves: our live signals reach their target in 69.3 % of completed cases. After measured spread and commission, an average of +0.07 R per trade is left – that is little, and we write it down anyway, because every provider knows this number and almost none of them publishes it. All the detail is in the chart pattern backtest and under trading costs.

Common questions

What is the difference between a Wolfe Wave indicator and a scanner?

An indicator draws the pattern on the chart you already have open. A scanner searches hundreds of instruments at once and tells you when it finds one. The indicator helps you understand; the scanner helps you find.

Do I need a robot (EA) if I have a scanner?

Only if you do not want to place the trades yourself. The robot saves you the clicking, not the decision – and it trades exactly the signals the scanner finds, not better ones.

Is a free TradingView indicator worse?

Not at drawing. The difference is reach and evidence: a script on your chart shows you the pattern but does not tell you how often that pattern actually worked over the past years.
